Guide for Authors

  • Scientific- research and analytical papers in the fields of architecture and urbanism are accepted for publication and published after the judgment and approval of the editorial board.
  • The purpose of this journal is to publish the results of scientific researches and experiences in the fields of architecture and urbanism.
  • Submissions must not have been published in any journal before. In addition, the articles presented to this journal should not have been presented to other journals at the same time for review and publication.
  • The article should contain abstracts (Persian and English), keywords, introduction, research methodology, research background, research body including different topics, results, writings and reference lists.
  • Abstract should include problem expression, purpose, research methodology, Tips, important findings and results. This section should be a brief expression of the article, especially the results obtained.
  • Persian abstract size is at least 250 and maximum 350 words and English abstract is at least 350 and maximum 500 words(The English abstract is not necessarily the translation of the Persian abstract, but the summary of the article). Abstract Persian and English should be typed in a separate page. In the English abstract page, the title of the article and keywords should also be presented in English. In order to facilitate the editing process, it is better to have an English abstract at the end of the file.
  • In research and analytical articles, it is necessary to write keywords related to the text and the title of the article immediately after the abstract and between 4_6 words.
  • Introduction, The Provider of the research problem is the purpose of the research and the overall introduction of the article.
  • The result of the article should be presented in a reasonable and useful way that clarifies the discussion and presents the findings of the research.
  • The text's transcripts (terms and equivalents of words, descriptions, etc.) should be numbered in the text and included in the text at the end of the article and before the list of references.
  • All in-text references are listed in the references list and vice versa.
  • Avoid referring in abstract sections, problem expression and conclusions.
  • References to references are placed in parentheses in the text, including the author's last name, year of publication, and page number after quoting.
  • The list of references is alphabetically named at the end of the article in Persian and English.
  • Use the new Persian and English references and adjust according to the principles of APA writing. Also, references in the text must be in accordance with the principles of APA writing.
  • Name of the author (authors) by specifying the corresponding author with  the star sign*;  if there are multiple authors, use the numbers to show their place in the authors' collection.
  • The academic rank, place of employment or education, and the address of the authors and the email (which is required only for the responsible author and better to be an academic or organizational email) should be fully mentioned.
  • The title of the author, including engineer, dr, etc., should not be mentioned in the article, and the introduction of the author shall be carried out in accordance with the following order:
  • Academic position (instructor, assistant professor, associate professor), faculty of service, university if the author is not a faculty member and is merely a student or graduate of a major, this information will be included in the article as follows:
  • Education (PhD, PhD student, master's student, etc.), field, university.
  • If the article is derived from a master's or doctoral thesis or research project, it can be mentioned in this section.
  • Photos, images, tables, etc. are provided in the least amount and good quality (photos are presented as JPEG and their quality is not less than 300 dpi), Have numbers and descriptions and must mention the relevant resource (also mentioned in the list of references) and be cited in the text. All images, maps and diagrams are presented as shapes. The number and title of the tables at the top of the table and the number and title of the shapes are stipulated at the bottom of the figure.
  • If the article has several authors, the presentation of the article and all correspondence must be done by the first author.  Otherwise, the authors should introduce one person in writing to the journal office as a representative for submitting the article and conducting correspondence.
  • If an article is outside the criteria for preparing scientific papers of the journal in this way, it will be returned to the author before submitting it to the editorial board and the reviewers.
Formats and Sizes
  • The article should be edited with word software 2013,2010,2007 with the docx extension in the size of paper A4. Since priority is Summary in the journal, the standard number of pages of the article includes shapes, tables, resources, etc. for the 15-page journal. The article must be single column. All Persian letters of text with the font B Mitra (normal) are all English letters of text, formulas and mathematical relationships with The Times New Roman (normal). The letter size for other parts of the article is written in the following table. The text of the article is in the size of paper A4 and the distance of lines 1.  Right margin 3, left margin 2.5, above 3.5 and down 2.5 cm. All pages must be numbered in order.
  • The whole text is aligned as (justify), which is the same as the left and right margins of the lines of a column or a page vertically.
  • In order to emphasize a part of the article, in the usual text of the article, the font should not be used as underline or highlight or italic.
  • Titles (headlines) of sections and subsections of the article, other than abstract, pi-writing, gratitude and resources should be numbered based on the following model:
  • 2- Research Methodology
  • 1-2- Methodology
  • Two-point mark (:) Remove from all headlines.
  • Do not use heading.

Content Tips
  • Avoid any overtime and repetitive content quotes.
  • The main and secondary headlines of the article are very carefully and in full coordination with the title and purpose of the article.
  • In writing an article, it is also important to note that it is not permitted to mention the content and use of refrences in a continuous and continuous way and weaken the text.
  • Avoid bringing two title in a burst without intermediary explanations.
Amending articles after arbitration
  • In articles requiring amendments, amendments must be exclusively limited to those listed. In other cases, the journal must be informed of any other changes or corrections.
  • All text added to the article should be marked in red. If you correct the text, specify the modified and modified section in green.
  • The accuracy of scientific writing is with authors/authors.
  • Publication of the articles of the Fundamental Research on Architecture and Urbanism without mentioning the references in other journals is prohibited.
